Welcome to Tippy Toes. We are an Ofsted Registered childminders situated in the heart of Denmead village. We are a mother and daughter team and have a combined experience of 40 years in a number of childcare settings.
Here at Tippy Toes we offer a safe, secure and stimulating enviroment from children aged from birth upwards. We both value learning through play as we feel that children learn best when they are allowed to develop in their own way.
We will follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage Framework) which sets out objectives and learning outcomes which we must cover in our care, meaning the children will achieve development milestones and next steps.

Amy and Selina have a natural gift for interacting with kids of all ages... and parents to! They cared for my son for 3 years whilst attending the local infants school and we are sorry to say goodbye to them as we head to juniors. - Amy was an instant hit and our son, formed a close boned right from the start. In his time with Amy our son had a lot of medical concerns and had not yet been diagnosed with Autism. However Amy could sense our concerns and was prepared to do her upmost to support his development in any way she could. Amy worked closely with him and gave us a detailed report on his development at the end of each day, and what she would like to do next to progress him further. In addition to this we felt that Amy had a great understanding of children, is firm but fair, but most of all very loving and caring. We never worry that our son would not get the love and support he needed, which made it that much easier to leave him each morning in Amy capable hands.
Amy was amazing with Charlie and we both formed a great relationship with her. Charlie has a speech & language delay and I have no doubt that the time and effort that Amy spent with him helped enormously with his language and confidence. She provided not only support to Charlie but to me as well, guiding me through what we could do at home to improve his speech & development. Charlie loved his time with Amy and his days were full of fun games, playing & learning. He would go in, and come out with a smile of his face and was always happy to be left in her care. I would thoroughly recommend Amy to any of my friends and family, knowing that their children will be well looked after, safe, loved and nurtured.
